Vacuum Tube Preamplifier L-1  Introduction. This device is a model designed as a path to the world of an actual music reproduction of your favourite tunes. We have made a lot of efforts to simplify construction solutions due to provide as lower influence as it is possible to music reproduction itself.  Construction After having done many researches, a long lasting trial period and according to our experience, preamplifier tube 6N1P was chosen as the best solution for few ordered custom made devices. Sound tests revealed us possibility of introduction Ni-Cd batteries (1.2 Volt) into cathode rod for obtaining stabilization of bias. The usage of battery enables purity of sound, larger frequency response and maximum gain. Anode connection consists of noninductive wire wound resistor manufactured by RCD. Capacitors on the signal path are AURICAP (high resolution). Potentiometer of volume control is 2 X 250 K Ohms, produced by ALPS. Electrolytic capacitors in anode supply are CORNELL DUBILIER (high frequency switching - 105*C). To avoid discussion about the effects of wire length to the way of signal PCB is directly attached to RCA jacks; all components are on the double side PCB made out of epoxy board. The signal is transmitted from the anode. Internally wired with “Van den Hul” SCS-18 cables and Neotech SHUW pure silver cables.  Stabilization vacuum tube is ECL-82, and the heating voltage of 6N30P is designed as the shunt stabilization +6.3 V. Frequency response: 5Hz - 60KHz /-3dB (at maximum gain) Input impendance > 100 KOhms Output impendance > 1 KOhm Signal to noise ratio: 75dB Channel separation: 63dB Voltage gain: 20x THD: 0.1% 230 V / 50Hz On the front panel there is a LED as a visual indicator.
